New Author Joins [I call you Friend]

One of the beauties of the Bride of Christ, is her many member reality. She is made up of many parts, just like the human body is made up of many parts. And, as we have recently experienced the mystery of the Bride being revealed, it is only fitting for us to begin functioning as the Bride of Christ; in her members coming together and functioning in expressing the Lord’s heart and releasing revelation about who He is.

So in that light I would like to introduce a new author to this blog. He is a very dear friend of mind and a complete and utter lover of Christ. His devotion to the Lord is pure and his desire for truth has lead him to search out the scriptures in a very deep and thorough way over the last 5 years. Lynley Pillay is a true brother in Christ and I trust that you will appreciate his unique perspectives and love for the Lord.

For the next few weeks he will be doing a series called “Points of Separation.” He will trace from the beginning in Genesis where man was separated from God and why. This is a wonderful journey that I myself am excited to join him on. Because if we know where we’ve been separated from God, we can know where and how Jesus Christ has reconnected us. And hopefully gain greater revelation on how God sees us, insight into who we are in Christ, and understanding of what relationship we can actually enjoy with God now that we are in Christ.

So for the next while (starting next week) Lynley and I will be alternating in writing posts. Posts on The Wisdom of Suffering will be inboxed on Tuesday mornings, and those on Points of Separation on Thursdays. This should give your week (at least for the next while) a nice balance of deeper insight into different aspects of knowing God. I trust that you will enjoy this adventure and really grow in deeper relationship with the Lord through sailing the seas of scripture with us in the hope of finding new unchartered lands within the endless universe of knowing God as Friend.

Bless you all

Dyl

  1. Peter says:

…and really grow in deeper relationship with the Lord through sailing the seas of scripture with us in the hope of finding new unchartered lands within the endless universe of knowing God as Friend.

    I love that sentence!
