Welcome Aboard!
So, here we go. A blog. After some very interesting “coincidences” in a short space of time, I feel very lead to start this blog. I have never even actually thought of it until very recently. Funny how the Lord works…
So, this blog is for all those who would like to know God. To Really Know God. I don’t just mean, kind of know about God, think about God, or even work for God, but to KNOW God. Like a Friend.
I have found that out of everything the scriptures encourage us to do, the one thing that trumps them all, is the invitation to Know God. It’s basically on every page. All of it is written in such a way as to reveal God. His nature, His character, His emotions and desires. His longings, His highs and His lows, His joys and His sadness. All the multifaceted aspects of His being. It’s probably the coolest book ever written. For through its stories we get to Know God.
Out of all the lenses that one can choose to look at life, I am finding, that more and more I desire to look through the one that says “What can I learn about God?” “Who is He really?” “How can I know Him?” For if He made me for relationship with Him, and that reality is essentially my eternal purpose, then surely I should start right now. I should start seeking Him out wherever and however I can. I should do whatever it takes to Know Him.
So this blog will be an adventure into the uncharted depths of knowing God. If you are up for it, willing to risk your comforts in the hope of discovering new worlds in God, then this is your invitation.
